FAQ

Where are you based and do you travel?

I am based in Middle TN, however, I LOVE traveling to new areas and locations, I'm totally game for driving to you! For weddings and sessions, I charge the standard IRS mileage rate for locations outside of a 30 mile radius of my house. This price will be added to the total price.

When will we get our photos?

We definitely live in a world where we thrive on instant gratification, however, sometimes good things take time. My turnaround is typically 3-4 weeks during busy seasons; however, feel free to ask when booking so that I can give you a better estimate. Wedding galleries are delivered in 8-10 weeks depending on the season—sometimes sooner! :)

Do you plan my wedding timeline?

Absolutely! I love being by your side to help you before your big day. In the end, this is YOUR day, and you have the ultimate say. However, I'll send you a "bride guide" to help you organize your day, plan for the best moments, prepare for the best shots, and make the most of every moment! I send you a very detailed questionnaire weeks before your wedding, and then customize a photo timeline for the wedding day to help everything run as seamlessly as possible. On your wedding day, I want to capture the feelings, the mood, the emotions, and the calm and crazy moments that make your wedding unique. Don't worry, I got you!!!

How many wedding pictures will we receive?

This depends on a lot of factors from your wedding day. Because I do not put an exact number limit on weddings, it's hard to give an exact number. I edit and deliver every quality image! I would say on average, I deliver 800-1200 images for weddings.

Do you use a second photographer?

I love working with second photographers! I do have second photographers that I prefer to work with, but I don't guarantee a second photographer in my packages. It's very possible that these photographers are already booked for their own weddings, so when a bride expresses interest in hiring a second photographer, I ask my faves to see who is available to help me shoot. Not every bride desires to have an extra camera body there, so it does take the pressure off for me to find a second photographer for every wedding I book because to be honest, it's not always an easy thing to do! Second photographers are chosen and hired based on their wedding experience and the equipment they use. The rate you can expect to pay is $50/hour.

How do I book you or reserve a date?

To book/reserve a date, just shoot me an email through my contact form or book online automatically using the book online link! I will be honest, if you message me on Instagram or Facebook, I might not see it for awhile. So many messages get lost in the mix on there, but I check my email every day.

Do you offer bridal sessions?

Yes! I love bridal sessions so much! If want to add a bridal session to your wedding package, I discount a full session price and you only pay $200. If you would rather have bridals made the day of the wedding, I reserve about 10 minutes for bridal photos during the bridesmaid photo portion of the day. The upside of bridal sessions is that you get some bomb photos of you in your very expensive gown. You're able to get some creative shots, take your time, and do a test run of your dress, hair, and makeup. The downside of not doing a bridal session is that you honestly don't have a lot of time on the wedding day to capture these shots.

What should I wear to my session?

Neutrals, neutrals, neutrals, neutrals, neutrals, neutrals, neutrals, neutrals, neutrals, neutrals, neutrals, neutrals,

But seriously though, NEUTRALS. You will never go wrong with white, cream, tan, brown, black, navy, or olive. Like, never ever. If you do love some color, however, my style guide can lead you in the right directions of muted colors that edit beautifully. I also love a touch of pattern or texture to really make your outfit(s) pop. Also, consider hats, jewelry, and shoes when planning your outfit.

For my editing style, avoid bold colors (red, bright blue, hot pink, green, and especially yellow!) Avoid busy patterns as well. Solid colors all the way!
